The Philadelphia Eagles ran roughshod over the Washington Commanders in yesterday’s NFC Championship Game on the back of superstar RB Saquon Barkley and his three rushing touchdowns, none more devastating than the 60-yard scamper on the first play from scrimmage for the birds. That TD set the tone and put the Commanders on their heels right off the bat.
Dan Patrick: “(Jalen) Hurts sees something, changes the play, changes where Saquon (Barkley) is lined up, and then all of a sudden he goes left, and then he goes back right, and then you go, ‘Oh my goodness, he’s done it again...’ That’s a homerun! That’s a Ricky Henderson leading off a game homerun type of feel.”
