Lima, OH (WIMA) -- Wednesday July 18th was Abby Conley Day in the city of Lima.
Mayor David Berger read a proclamation in honor of the Special Olympian.
Conley was one of 66 athletes to compete in the recent games representing Team Ohio in Seattle, Washington, and she brought home a few gold medals.
She started competing in the Special Olympics at the age of 10.
