Lima, OH (WIMA) -- We're finding out more about the cases pending against former Allen County Sheriff Sam Crish.
At the Lima office of the FBI on Monday, the U-S Department of Justice revealed a 6-count indictment against Crish, which include extortion, soliciting bribes, and making false statements to the FBI.
Justin Herdman is a U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio, and explained the case to us at a press conference.
Crish will be appearing in Federal Court in Toledo today to face the indictments.
He resigned amid the controversy back in January of last year.
That came after a raid was conducted on the Sheriff's Office by FBI officials.
