>>Suspected Murderer in Custody
(Lima, OH)--It didn’t take long after a warrant was issued for law enforcement to apprehend the suspected murderer of Christian Laws on Lark Avenue on Lima’s north side on June 14th.
The Allen County Sheriff’s office early yesterday afternoon put out word they had obtained a murder warrant for 21 year old Jolade Reginald Omosikeji Jr.
And at approximately 6:30 last night, Omosikeji was taken into custody without incident at 1150 Adam Lee Place in Lima following an anonymous tip. That housing development is just west of the murder scene.
Omosikeji’s most recent address on record is at 531 Brower Road, which is the apartment complex just down the street from the murder scene although it’s not clear if he was residing there at the time of the shooting.
Police have not offered up a theory for the motive but there has been speculation among residents in the area that Laws and Omosikeji had a long running beef that led to the killing.
