Lima, OH (WIMA) -- For the third year in a row, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District 1 has been recognized at a conference for its efforts to collaborate and communicate with contractors on construction projects.
Conaway Partnering Awards are presented at an annual statewide conference held jointly by ODOT and the Ohio Contractors Association (OCA) each winter.
This year, ODOT District 1 and the Shelly Company of Findlay received an honorable mention for its partnering on a rehabilitation project completed last year in the city of Lima.
The $4 million-dollar project added sidewalks, curbs and new storm sewer components to state Route 65 on the north end of the city.
