Lima, OH (WIMA) -- 63 year-old John Jackson, who robbed the Superior Credit Union on Kibby Street less than one month ago, has already received his prison sentence for the crime.
In Allen County Court on Monday, Jackson got an 8-year sentence.
When he was caught a few hours after the incident on August 14th, Jackson apparently told authorities he did it because he wanted to go back to jail.
Jackson apologized in the sentencing, and said addictions were to blame for his actions and behavior over the years.
