Lima, OH (WIMA) - The Hancock County Sheriff's Office responded to a fatal traffic accident on State Route 12 on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened east of Union Township Road 51 around 2 p.m.
A westbound semi-truck and an eastbound Ford pick-up collided head-on.
The driver of the pickup truck, 65-year-old Darrell Howell of Mount Cory, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver, 52-year-old Gregory Lyons of Toledo, was transported from the scene with unknown injuries.
