Lima, OH (WIMA) - Lima city council heard about an issue that caught some in attendance by surprise.
A few members of the community expressed their concerns about the behavior of Lima police officers out in the streets, on duty, and during traffic stops.
According to Ray Magnus, a former council member, some of the issues include profiling, lack of respect, and mistrust of officers among citizens.
Later in the meeting, some council members commented, saying they hope to see some positive change in the officers on duty, and from the leaders of the police department.
