Lima, OH (WIMA) - Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers do more than just patrol traffic.
They investigated a wide range of felonies in 2017 and found a large increase in total drug arrests.
Troopers made 16,653 drug arrests, which is up 25% compared to 2016.
Large drug seizures from last year included over 29 pounds of meth, more than 35 pounds of heroin, and 85 hundred ecstasy pills.
