Lima, OH (WIMA) - A man who attempted to help another vehicle stuck along US 33 on Wednesday ended up getting pinned, and 2 other cars also became involved in the accident.
It happened on 33 eastbound between Bay and Kettlersville Roads just before 7 last night.
55-year-old Donnie Hicks of Saint Marys was unhooking a tow strap when his car was struck, pushing it forward into the car he was attempting to help.
Hicks ended up at Mercy Health Saint Rita's with non-life threatening injuries.
No one else in the other 3 vehicles involved needed medical treatment.
