Lima, OH (WIMA) - A retrial on a case involving a man killing his own son in Putnam County 12 years ago has ended.
Michael Luebrecht pleaded guilty in 2006 to drowning his 13-month-old son in a bathtub in 2005.
Judge Randall Basinger approved a withdrawal of that plea, after defense attorneys filed on behalf of Luebrecht that the reason he committed the act was due to anti-depressant medication.
Luebrecht was found guilty of aggravated murder last week, and was ordered to continue to serve his life sentence on Monday.
