Lima, OH (WIMA) - Mike Caprella, Lima's Director of Utilities, spoke at the mayor's press conference last week with an update on the Simmons Field basin project.
He said the basin will help keep Lima within the EPA's mandates of 5 storm water overflows in a year, and this basin won't even be visible when it is completed.
The 13-million gallon basin is being bid on by those who will complete the project, and the city is currently evaluating the bids.
Currently, Caprella said the city is evaluating bids to find out which one will be best for the city and its citizens.
