Home Pipes Freezing

By Bryce Hamrick
Dec 28, 2017

Lima, OH (WIMA) - It’s the time of year with sub-freezing temperatures where water pipes in homes can freeze.

Mike Caprella, the city of Lima Utilities Director, said running the smallest bit of water from a faucet can keep pipes moving.

If pipes do end up freezing, do not use an open flame to warm the pipe.

Use a hair dryer or call your utilities provider for help.
