Lima, OH (WIMA) - State Highway Patrol troopers from the Wapakoneta post are investigating a fatal crash that occured outside Saint Marys on Friday morning at the intersection of state routes 219 and 364.
Nancy Geier of Celina was driving east on 219 when Sandra Vondenhuevel of New Bremen, who was driving north on 364, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with Geier's vehicle.
Vondenhuevel was not wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Joint Township Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Geier was wearing a seatbelt and was transported to Saint Rita's Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
