Lima, OH (WIMA) - It was definitely a wet weekend in and around the Lima area.
Lima Police were forced to shut down several roads and streets with high water on Saturday.
In American Township, a portion of Elida Road was closed due to high water, as officials wanted to make sure no one would get stuck attempting to travel through the standing water.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office reported that due to multiple spots of high water, there were not enough signs to cover all of the locations.
