Lima, OH (WIMA) -- Nine local charities received proceeds from the Husky Lima Refinery Charity Golf Outing.
A reception took place on Tuesday.
More than 400 golfers, more than 70 volunteers, and a long list of sponsors and business partners took part in the July event, raising over 109-thousand dollars.
Some of this year’s recipients were 4-H of Allen County, the Allen County Historical Society and Museum, the Bradfield Community Center, and the West Ohio Food Bank.
Husky and charity representatives spoke about how the donations will help these and other community organizations.
