Hancock Co, OH (WIMA) -- A 16-year-old boy who got stuck underwater at a local campground has died.
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on the incident that took place at Sulphur Springs Campground.
Witnesses say the teenager went underwater back on Friday to retrieve a bracelet, and got stuck under a dock.
He was under water for several minutes before other campers were able to pull him to the surface.
His name has not been released.
Sulphur Springs Campground is on U.S. 68 in southern Hancock County.
