Lima, OH (WIMA) -- The city of Lima is continuing to look for ways to entice people to settle in the area, build new homes, and an announcement made on Wednesday about water may play a big part in all of that.
The city of Lima will no longer be charging owners of new homes or residential properties to tap into the city's water supply.
"Tap Fees" are going from around 39-hundred dollars to zero, and for homes outside the city limits, the fees will be 500-dollars.
Lima Mayor Dave Berger said there are other money-saving incentives that the city offers new home owners and home developers.
