Toledo, OH (WIMA) -- The former Allen County Sheriff has pleaded guilty to asking for and taking bribes from people arrested in prostitution stings, suspected gamblers, and others.
According to a press release from the Department of Justice, Sam Crish appeared in U.S. District Court on Monday.
He faces anywhere from 12 to 15-and-a-half years in prison. He was also ordered by the court to pay back more than $600-thousand dollars in restitution.
Crish was elected Sheriff in 2008, 2012 and 2016.
He resigned his position at the end of January 2017.
