Lima, OH (WIMA) -- High winds whipped through the entire Buckeye State on Sunday.

The Lima area saw its share of damage, thanks to downed tree limbs and power lines.

Make sure to heed to signs and barriers as you are out and about, since many streets and roads may still have downed trees or other debris.

One gust of wind here in Allen County was recorded close to 70 miles per hour.

Hundreds of American Electric Power customers were also without power at some point on Sunday.

Scattered outages are still being reported this morning by A-E-P.

More than 1,000 customers of Midwest Electric were also without power for a time.

In Mercer County, more than 8,000 Dayton Power and Light customers were without power late Sunday afternoon.
