Lima, OH (WIMA) -- A nationwide bulletin was issued early Tuesday by Lima Police for 4 kids reportedly taken by their mother and her boyfriend, and they were suspected of leaving the state.
Around 5pm on Tuesday, an update was given by authorities, saying the 4 missing juveniles were located at a residence in Kenton.
Charles Perkins and Marianne Merritt, who attempted to flee when law enforcement converged on the residence, were taken into custody.
Perkins was arrested on an active warrant, through Allen County Common Pleas Court.
Merritt, the mother of the children, was held on suspicion of Interference with custody, and held pending formal charges.
