City of Lima looks to Save on Electricity Costs

Lima, OH (WIMA) -- The City of Lima will be saving about $400-thousand dollars over a four-year period on electrical services.

A reverse auction resulted in a low bid by M-P-2 Energy based in Texas, allowing the city to buy electricity at a cheaper price, a little over 44-dollars per 1-thousand kilowatt-hours.

City Finance Director Steve Cleaves revealed the results at the mayor’s weekly press conference.
