Lima, OH (WIMA) -- The Allen County Sheriff's Office acted quickly in response to a social media threat aimed at the Bath Middle School on Wednesday morning.
School went on as usual, but an increase of Sheriff Deputy patrols took place.
A 13 year old former Bath student was taken into custody around Noon on Wednesday.
The suspect has admitted to creating the threatening message, which showed an image of a gun and said "the bath middle school will be shot up May 24th at 9:11- be ready."
He is now at the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center.
