Lima, OH (WIMA) - Alter Ego Comics in Lima is celebrating Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, May 5th from 10 am to 4 pm.
Each year, thousands of participating stores give away over 5 million comic books to fans, and owner Marc Bowker said there is a large amount to choose from.
Each visitor can choose up to 5 free comics, with special donations going to the Children's Developmental Center of Lima.
Alter Ego will also run the Touch a Truck program from noon to 2 pm for kids to see and experience big emergency vehicles.
