Construction Approved for New Juvenile Detention Building

Lima, OH (WIMA) - A close to $7-million construction contract has been approved by the Allen County Commissioners that will lead to a new county Juvenile Detention Center to be located on Cole Street.

The state has dedicated $3.4 million to the project.

Peterson Construction of Wapakoneta won the bid for the project.

Carroll said the project should be finished in or by July of 2019.
