Lima, OH (WIMA) - A Lakeview man was killed in a single-car crash just after 8 last night in Auglaize County.
The Wapakoneta post of the State Patrol reports that 73 year-old Earl Shirk was going east on Middle Pike when he went off the left side of the road into a ditch, and struck a tree.
Shirk was pronounced dead on the scene.
He was not wearing his seat belt.
Alcohol is not suspected to be a cause of the crash.
