Lima, OH (WIMA) - Columbus Grove Police Chief Sean Hiler attempted to stop a Chevrolet pickup truck on West Sycamore Street on Monday afternoon.
The vehicle refused, and sped off westbound, traveling to state Route 115 with both Columbus Grove and Kalida Police in pursuit.
The truck then went south on to U.S. 30.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Allen County Sheriff’s Office took over the pursuit.
The truck finally stopped on Lincoln Highway near Leatherwood Road.
38-year-old Timothy Boedicker of Lima was arrested on charges of failure to comply, reckless operation and driving under suspension.
He is currently being held at the Putnam County Jail.
