Dysert Sentenced for Shooting

Lima, OH (WIMA) - Collin Dysert was sentenced for his role in the March of 2017 shooting death of Damere Oliphant outside an apartment on Cam Court in Shawnee Township.

The 21-year-old Dysert took a plea deal from prosecutors that called for him to plead guilty to kidnapping and involuntary manslaughter charges.

A firearm specification charge added 3 years, so Dysert received a total of 15 years behind bars.

20-year-old Gavin Lauck, and 20-year-old Dalton Duncan, are also charged with murder, involuntary manslaughter, trafficking in drugs and kidnapping.

They face the possibility of life in prison.
