Lima, OH (WIMA) - State Representative Robert Sprague, a Findlay Republican, has officially declared his candidacy for state treasurer.
He filed petitions with over 2600 signatures from Ohioans representing 71 counties on Tuesday.
Sprague has raised nearly $750,000 to date for the campaign.
He is a first-time candidate for a state-wide office.
Today is the filing deadline for candidates running in the May primary election.
