Lima, OH (WIMA) - Grants were awarded to 11 counties in Ohio by the Bureau of Workers Compensation.
2 area counties, Mercer and Van Wert, were on that list.
Van Wert County received a grant for over 24 hundred dollars for a lift gate, and Mercer County received a 40 thousand dollar grant for a power cot, a power load system, and a chest compression system.
The grants help those counties improve their systems that workers use so that injuries are less likely to occur.
