Lima, OH (WIMA) - Hall of Fame National Hot Rod Association drag racing driver John Force was at the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday to receive an honorary Doctor of Laws degree.
Force spoke at the special ceremony in front of several hundred students and fans at the Event Center, saying that the people he has met became his family for the common love of racing.
Force has 16 Funny Car championships since 1990 and 148 NHRA victories, and his company "John Force Racing" continues to grow with the help of his family racing along with him.
