New Representative Takes Over Ohio Senate 1st District Seat

Columbus, OH (from Statehouse reports) -- Robert McColley of Napoleon was sworn in as a member of the Ohio Senate on Tuesday.

Senate Republicans unanimously voted to approve the screening committee recommendation to fill the vacancy in Ohio's 1st Senate District, left by Findlay's Cliff Hite's resignation. 

McColley served two terms in the Ohio House, representing the 81st District.

His new district encompasses Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Henry, Paulding, Putnam, Van Wert and Williams counties as well as portions of Auglaize, Fulton and Logan counties.
