Lima, OH (WIMA) - The Allen County RTA is making cuts following the failure of the proposed levy on county residents’ ballots last week.
Shelia Haney, the Regional Transit Authority's director and CEO, explained why they are making cuts now and at the beginning of the New Year.
She also asked that riders do not express any frustration toward the bus drivers as they are also RTA employees.
Haney said she realizes the impact the cuts will have on the community and hopes they will be able to rebound in the future.
