Lima, OH (WIMA) - Carrie Woodruff, the Lima City Schools' Food Service Director, will be honored Tuesday with the 2017 Outstanding Food and Nutrition Director of the Year Award.
The award will be given at the Ohio School Boards Association Conference in Columbus.
The award comes with a $500 scholarship to present to a graduating senior at Lima Senior High School.
Woodruff was hired as the food service director in 1998, and the program has seen a lot of success since that time.
She will also be recognized on a plaque in the State School Board Association offices in Columbus.
