Lima, OH (WIMA) - A Hardin County EMS staffer was killed and two others suffered life-threatening injuries following a crash on Saturday night.
EMT Krista McDonald was driving an ambulance south on State Route 292, when Rachael Willeke failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into the ambulance.
McDonald and her EMT partner Peggy Eastman were thrown from the ambulance, and McDonald was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in Willeke's vehicle and Eastman were flown to Columbus with life-threatening injuries.
Willike and child passenger were taken to Lima Memorial for treatment.
