Kevin Hines Visits Shawnee to Discuss Bi-polar Disorder

Lima, OH (WIMA) - The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board brought speaker Kevin Hines to Shawnee High School on Monday.

Hines attempted suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge at the age of 21, but he survived and lives to speak about dealing with bi-polar disorder.

Hines continues to travel around the world talking about how he was the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor to regain full physical mobility, and how important living with good mental health can be.
