Lima, OH (WIMA) - A jam-packed Lima city council chambers played host to a Neighborhood Concerns Committee meeting last night.
The topic dealt with a proposed idea for landlord registration within the city.
Jesse Lowe, 3rd ward councilman and committee chair, took nominations from the crowd for 3 people for and 3 against the issue to join talks with the committee.
The mayoral candidates also are split on the issue.
Mayor Dave Berger disagrees with the claim that the proposed idea will raise prices for renters, while mayoral challenger Keith Cheney says the prices would go up.
