Lima, OH (WIMA) - A Micro Market was installed at the Allen County Sheriff's Office in an effort to create healthier options for employees that can't leave the building to eat.
The Market is designed to have an even amount of junk and healthy food options to give employees the choice of what to eat without leaving work.
Employees were previously limited to packing their own lunch or eating at nearby fast food restaurants if they were limited in free time for lunch.
The Market was installed in conjunction with their remodeled break room including new tables, shelving, software, and a kiosk donated by Firelands Vending.
