Lima, OH (WIMA) - The UNOH Event Center held an IHOPE Summit on Tuesday for high school seniors and college students to learn about the opiate epidemic.
Donna Dickman, director for the Partnership for Violence Free Families, mentioned how the students will be able to use what they learned from the summit in their own lives.
Former BMX pro Tony Hoffman was a speaker at the summit, who told his story about how he overcame drugs and alcohol to become the founder and director of his own non-profit organization.
