Gas Prices Rise in Ohio from Hurricane Harvey

Lima, OH (WIMA) - Gas prices could rise to a national average of 2 and a half dollars in the coming days and weeks after Hurricane Harvey hit Texas and the South.

Kimberly Schwind, the Senior Public Relations Manager at AAA Ohio, mentioned that the national average is not what you will see at the pump, but prices will still rise.

The national average was last at $2.50 in August of 2015.

West Central Ohio can generally be below the state and national averages, but expect prices to jump a small amount at the pump.
