Lima, OH (WIMA/Various Reports) -- A rollover crash on North Phillips Road just north of Lafayette took place on Wednesday morning.
A Jeep was heading south around 8am, and went off the road and struck a power pole.
The pole and live power lines had the driver trapped inside..A-E-P officials cut power to the area
for a few hours to work on the situation..The unidentified male driver suffered minor injuries, and was arrested for D-U-I.
The driver of a semi perished in a crash that took place this on Wednesday morning on U-S 24 near the intersection of County Road 83 in Paulding County.
61 year-old Matthew Coleman of Westland, Michigan went off the right side of the roadway, striking a ditch before entering a field and coming to a stop.
First responders arrived and found Coleman unresponsive..He was pronounced dead by the Paulding County Coroner’s Office.
Coleman was wearing his seat belt at the time of the traffic crash, and alcohol use is not suspected.
