Lima, OH (WIMA) -- A 5th Community Oriented Policing (COP) substation was officially opened in the city of Lima on Wednesday.
Mayor Dave Berger held his weekly press conference at the Waterford Town Homes complex on Hope Street.
LPD Chief Kevin Martin said they're looking forward to continuing to reach out to community members.
Chief Martin said this is all they have planned as far as COP substations,but could entertain the idea of another location if situations arise.
There will be a bar-b-cue at the Brower Road location on July 28th from 11 to 1, and then again at Waterford on August 11th from 11 to 1.
