Lima, OH (WIMA) -- The Lima Police Department was made aware of a social media post which appeared to threaten Lima Senior High School with gun violence over the weekend.
Investigators, along with Lima City Schools employees, immediately began looking into the social media post on Saturday afternoon.
They were able to identify the person as a 16-year-old male who is a current Lima Senior High School student.
The student was located and taken into custody without incident, although officers also recovered two handguns.
The unidentified student is now at the Allen County Juvenile Detention Center.
