Lima, OH (WIMA) -- Follow-up information has been released on the death of a baby in Delphos a little over a week ago.
A 9-1-1 call was received from 218 North Main Street in Delphos, reporting that 22-month-old Madilyn Shellabarger of Convoy was not breathing..The call was made by Madilynn’s mother, Vicky Shellabarger.
Madilynn was transported to Saint Rita’s Medical Center, where attempts to revive her were not successful.
Madilynn’s death was considered suspicious in nature, and an investigation is ongoing by local authorities and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
