(Undated) -- The U.S. is getting ready to host bare knuckle boxing for the first time in more than a century.
A group called Bare Knuckle Fighting Champions is putting on a legal night of bare knuckle fights this Saturday in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
It will be the first legally-sanctioned no-gloves bouts in this country since 1889.
The matches will include former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez, former Bellator heavyweight Eric Prindle, and former boxer Paul Spadafora.
Organizers say the night also will feature what they're calling the first-ever women's bare knuckle match, pitting former UFC flyweight Bec Rawlings against boxer Alma Garcia.
The event at the Cheyenne Events Center this Saturday, June 2nd, begins at 6 p.m. Mountain Time.
It's available on pay-per-view.
