(Dearborn, MI)  --  Ford Motor Company is going to give U.S. customers what they want and that means no more sedans.

By 2020 nearly 90 percent of the automaker's footprint in North America will be trucks, utilities and commercial vehicles.

Ford says given declining consumer demand and product profitability, the company will not invest in next generations of traditional Ford sedans for North America.

Over the next few years FordNorth America will phase out all but their two best selling cars, the Mustang and the Focus Active crossover that's coming out next year.
