(Marshall, TX) -- Supervised aerobic exercise could help treat people with major depression.
A recently published report shows that aerobic exercise seemingly produces antidepressant effects within people who suffer from depression.
The eleven trials included more than 450 adults participating in weekly aerobic exercises for a duration of 45 minutes.
The effect of the exercise was larger than antidepressant medicines and therapies.
The lead researcher says they hope this supports the use of exercise treatment for major depression.
