Lima, OH (WIMA) -- The Ohio Department of Transportation has put out a report on snow and ice
operations that they have done so far in District One, from last November to now.
They have gone through close to 20-thousand tons of salt, which is almost
twice as less when compared to a year ago.
As far as the financial numbers go, they have spent a little over 3-million dollars
keeping the roads safe and clear, where last year, the total was 4-point-9 million.
ODOT’s District 1 includes Allen, Defiance, Hancock, Hardin, Paulding, Putnam,
Van Wert and Wyandot counties.
