(Undated) -- Nutritionists are giving out tips to keep you from going overboard with the candy this Halloween.
They suggest only buying candy the week of, or even the day before the holiday, that way it's not sitting around your house tempting you to eat it before trick-or-treaters come.
They also say buy bite-sized candies that have individual wrapping, and try to limit yourself to just one or two.
Also, take a longer time chewing the pieces tp enjoy the flavor more and feel more satisfied.
Lastly, store the candy on a high shelf in a sealed container, that way it is out of sight.
