As we embark on another March, and that crazy time that involves high school, college, and pro basketball, I reflect back on my time as just a plain old fan of the game.
I had that experience last weekend in Cleveland, for the MAC Men's Tournament Championship Game at Quicken Loans Arena.
I've been covering games for about 20 years now as an announcer or a reporter.
Traveling to big time cities and arenas, small towns and gyms you can barely fit in.
Getting to call exciting matchups, overtime thrillers, buzzer beaters, and experiencing the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat.
It truly has been a heck of an experience.
Check out my shots from my alma mater's experience in the MAC title game. Even though Toledo fell short to Buffalo, I still had a great time at the pre-game rally and dinner put on by the UT Alumni Association.
